FERDINAND and FINNEGAN were surprise babies born of their rescued Mama Foxy. She is a long haired Chihuahua. The boys are much more fuzzy with short tails and muzzles right now but we have no idea what other breed(s) they are for sure. Pomeranian is a mere guess at this point. Foxy is barely 5 pounds and the boys will likely be about the same though we cannot guarantee that. They are less than 2 pounds at 8 weeks old.
We are seeking homes for the boys that can make a life long commitment (think 15ish years down the road). Their new home should not have young children in the picture, and should have someone home to raise their puppy.
Both boys are super happy, active and social. They may be small but are very active and will run and hop all over the place. Their safety is paramount when selecting their homes.
Our young puppies are adopted on a spay/neuter contract.
The owner will get the surgery done between 4-6 months of age, then provide CoH a copy of the sterilization certificate. Once received, we will issue a partial refund of the adoption fee.
OR
The puppy will be brought to one of our designated spay/neuter clinics and paid for by CoH.
They will be micro-chipped, de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.
The puppy will be vaccinated according to their age and will need additional vaccinations depending on their age.
DHPP protocol 8-12-16 weeks of age
Bordetella 12 weeks of age
Rabies 4-6 months of age
Adoption fee is $350
