SCOUT WAS ADOTPED 1/24/2009!!
Scout was part of a very labor intensive rescue of some dogs that were dumped in the eastern WA desert. Scout was not alone though, she had 2 pups with her that had managed to survive with her out there. They were finally caught and brought to safety.
Scount has the softest fur and is a calm, gentle, quiet girl. She doesn't bark if someone is at the door even.
She tends to cling to women more so than men and shadows her foster Mom as much as she can. She does fine with all others but will growl a little if a dog rudely invades her space but does not snap at them. children may be too overwhelming for her so we would like a home without kids. She deserves to be the spoiled center of someone's attention after all she's been through.
She also did perfect with the cat test and totally ignored them.
In very little foster care time, she was walking off leash and coming back in when called. She never wandered far either.
She is guessed to be about 3 years old. If you are interested in this sweet dog, please contact us.
Please visit our Petfinder home page at www.collarofhope.petfinder.com for additional information about our rescue, adoption application process and adoption fees. We accept cash or checks only.
