 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

ATTENTION... this dog is located in Yakima with Lifesavers Rescue. This happy, friendly, little guy is JEFFERSON. He is a Pug....and probably a Pug MIX. BUT...what I like about him is he doesn't have the real protruding eyes that make this breed prone to a lot of eye injuries and he has a long nose on him so he can breathe easier, more quietly and tolerate the heat better. JEFFERSON belonged to some jerks who decided they wanted a bigger dog so they were going to drive out in the country and dump him. Luckily a neighbor found out about this and took JEFFERSON in and called me. JEFFERSON weighs about 12# and is close to a year old. He is around all kinds of other dogs and does well with them. Pugs are VERY loving dogs and so loyal and attentive to their owners. He has a soft haircoat and is such a handsome color. JEFFERSON is a great companion, doesn't bark, isn't hyper and loves to sit on laps and have attention. He quickly works his way into one's heart. He is one of those gentle soul dogs. JEFFERSON uses the dog door to go in and out but he may not be completely house broke. JEFFERSON has been neutered now and vaccinated, wormed and micro-chipped.
