 We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
 Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, microchipped and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

Attention....this dog is located in Yakima, WA and is a courtesy post for Lifesavers Rescue. This is not a Collar of Hope foster dog. This very sweet little girl is TRIXIE. You can tell what a good disposition she has just by looking at her face :o) TRIXIE is a Terrier mix of some kind. TRIX is about 8 months of age.She only weighs 10# and is about 10" tall. TRIXIE and 3 other dogs, all about the same age, were dumped in the country in a canal. Luckily not much water was in the canal and they were able to get out and they sat by the side of the road for days, I was told, just waiting for their stupid human to come back and get them. TRIXIE loves attention, to be talked to and be petted. She is so friendly and very good with other dogs but she so wants to have human attention and to be carried around. I do have to say the person who had these dogs did take care of them food wise and also treated them kindly as they show no signs of abuse. TRIXIE is such a nice size dog for about anyone, young or old, children or no children, who want a dog that can go anywhere, doesn't take up much space, is a unique looking dog and wants to please. I also do not think she will shed much as she has the wire haired hair coat. Oh my gosh, she loves to sit on a lap, or be on the human bed at night. She is so small you don't know she is there. A fenced yard is mandatory for her safety. She will be spayed, vaccinated and micro chipped before adoption takes place. There is a $150 adoption donation for TRIXIE.
