This little coal black precious friendly little boy is TINKER. He is a purebred Pomeranian. TINKER was born 2-12-2012 so is just now 11 weeks old. He will be ready for adoption after 4-27. These little pups need to be with the mother and each other until around 10 weeks of age to learn about life and the do's and don'ts of playing with each other. He weighs about 4-5# now.
TINKER, being a Pom, will grow to be very attached to his humans or possibly one human in the family. They are friendly little dogs, do bark when someone comes to the door or possibly loud noises outside the home, so often times don't make the best dogs for people living in apartments or condos.
Pomeranians are very intelligent dogs that love to please. Because of their outgoing temperaments, they can be very good family dogs with the right training. Due to their small size they donât require much exercise, but are an energetic breed that needs attention from their people frequently. They possess a thick double coat, which needs to be brushed on a regular basis.
Because TINKER is so very young there needs to be someone home at least part of the day to continue training, socializing and being with him. Dogs are pack animals by nature and do not do well being isolated for long periods.
Since he is so small and will be a small adult dog (maybe 8-9# or so), there cannot be children in the home under 12 years of age. Too many small pups are injured by active children being too rough, dropping the dog by accident, stepping on them, etc. so we are wanting to prevent this from happening. PLEASE understand.
A secure fenced yard is mandatory in order to adopt TINKER. A home inspection will be done before adoption takes place.
Because TINKER is too small and too young to be neutered, you must provide a prepaid neuter receipt from your local veterinarian at time of adoption.
There is a $250 adoption donation for TINKER. FOR ADOPTION APPLICATION PLEASE EMAIL: lifesaversrescue@live.com
