We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.
Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.
ADELINA is a darling small chihuahua or mix of one. She is usually shy and untrusting when meeting new people but once she's comfy, she loves her people. She is nervous when meeting new dogs until she's comfy with them too. But she just tolerates other dogs in her space and is not going to be your dogs new friend and playmate, she wants human attention not dog attention. We needed to be sure as she was a very protective Mama dog with her babies (all adopted now). It is her turn to be someone's baby instead of a baby maker. She doesn't care for the outside world much so her new family needs to be able to work with her on that or be prepared to have a potty pad girl. There were a lot of dogs in the home she came from so none learned much of anything and she's recently off Mama duty with us so we're just now able to work with her and really get to know Addy as a girl and not a mama dog.
She does NOT walk on leash so you MUST have a securely fenced yard that she cannot escape from and be willing to be outside with her so raptors don't snatch her up.
