We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit.  Once we have an approved, viable applicant, the meet and greet will be done at the applicants home, outside, following covid protocol.
Prior to adoption, our dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated including rabies/age appropriate, and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum.

Heidi just turned 1 year old on Aug 30th so she's young and needs continued training.  She is a good natured young Great Dane who needs to be in her breed or giant breed experienced home.  She really is a diamond in the ruff.
Her previous owners did not provide anything she needed as far as training goes.  She is not potty trained, though we are working on it of course.  She will get into stuff on occasion so be prepared to have a crate available on the occasions you can't supervise her and keeping her outside or in a garage is not an option.  She should not be kept in a crate for long durations as she came to us with "happy tail" indicating she was crated for too long and in too small of a crate in her previous home.  This means someone should be around to continue her training and able to get her up to speed where she should be at this age.  When excited, sometimes she will still jump up in the air near you or on you so no younger kids please.
Her new home needs a securely fenced yard, no exceptions (so no apartment type homes).
If you think you can provide her the life long commitment and that she's the girl for you, please submit our adoption application.
PLEASE!  No phone calls or emails asking if she's still available!  She will be put in pending, removing her from our website once we have an approved, viable applicant for her.

Please visit our website directly to complete an online application.
