Jaxx was found on the side of a road in terrible condition. Regardless of what neglect he's endured, he's the sweetest little guy! He's quiet, loving and adorable.
He's going to be a long rehab for us. His coat feels like a brillo pad and he's got balding all over. He's on a good diet, getting proper baths and is on thyroid meds (very inexpensive). When dogs are in this ruff of shape, it's harder to get a good idea of their age but it's estimated about 7 years right now. He has a heart murmur and is on medication for this as well.
He's now finished with all of his basic vetting and a much needed dental was done. It's just going to take a long time to undo the neglect for his coat to be soft and shine, just like he shines!
